Although we had only four hours sleep last night, by the Grace of God we are up and about early again, because we are supposed to leave at 7:45 a.m. from the hotel here in the city of Vijayawada – which by the way means ‘Victory’ – for the services at Pastor Varam’s church in Piduguralla. Transport has been a bit difficult these days and the first two cars are available to leave at 9:45, while another car is arriving one hour later to take the rest of us to the meeting place.
Brother Vin speaks for both services:
FOUND WITH CHILD OF THE HOLY GHOST
Somehow he doesn’t really get to this subject the way he intended to this morning, because the Lord leads him to address the condition of the church, and at the end of the first service he speaks in love:
“I hope these things can provoke you that we are not just called to congregate together. The church is not only one in four walls, it’s called Ecclesia, the called-out people. ‘After the Holy Ghost is come upon you, you shall be witnesses of Me’. If God promised that and it’s impossible for God to lie and we are not seeing it, we have to check and see, if we work according to the plan.
People fail to understand the responsibility of the things, because true teaching will train the people and you see all the members in unity and harmony working together. Today we see, we have this man’s church or that man’s church, but there is not such a thing in the Bible. God has His church.
It’s been a straight Word, I couldn’t go back to the subject a couple of times. In my heart I know, this is a great need here. We are here to give encouragement to the people. We are not entertainers but we are trying to speak truthfully. “I pray that this Word goes deep into the hearts to make men and woman more conscious and Lord, You would pour Your grace down into the wounds, because the Word cuts asunder…the trees are shaken to get the roots deeper. May You give special grace for the understanding of the mysteries of God, that our precious brother opens the Word like never before. These people are waiting for the consolation and want to be ready for Your Coming. Let the power rise in this church.”
EVENING SERVICE – FOUND WITH CHILD OF THE HOLY GHOST
Brother Vin zooms into the Scripture in Matthew 1:18-25 and Luke 2 and shows what was happening on the earth at that time. Here’s just a tiny excerpt for you to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit:
“When the first Coming of the Lord was taking place, God went to a village- girl called Mary and a carpenter called Joseph. The Angel appeared to the shepherds, to people who looked like nothing. He bypassed all the high and mighty. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. There is no new thing under the sun.
All the unwritten things are written in the experiences of the ones who interpret the Word. Only the elect have the experience of the unwritten Word. They recognize the Prophet’s prophecy made actual in their lives.
It’s knowing your age, your time, your promises, the anointing of the Word for the age and seeing those prophecies are coming to pass and are identified in your life. When that begins to happen that’s not intellectual faith but the faith of Christ. You come to see the mystery of your life in the Book.”
