DAY 21

OCTOBER 21ST, 2019 – TRAVELLING TO LAKKAVARAM / Andhra Pradesh

Just before the next power outage and internet failure, I quickly want to write for the up-date’s sake. And you definitely need to read between the lines.

The visit in Vijayawada and surrounding areas has come to an end and today we continue to drive many hours to the town of LAKKAVARAM in East Godavari – Malikipuram, another part of Andhra Pradesh, where Pastor Peter desires for Brother Vin to minister to his congregation of about 500 people. The journey by car takes us more than five hours, because we are driving the last 60 km on a narrow country road with more holes than anything else. The service was supposed to start at 7 p.m. and while we are still driving at 10:45 p.m. we receive this photo.

Look at the waiting believers! Talk about the value they put on the Word! There is no way the Lord would not stop at a place like this.

Most of us arrive just before 11 pm, and others after midnight, because we were not able to find the church right away; it’s kind of hiding in a jungle of palm trees and banana plantations.

PASTOR PETER (standing)

Brother Vin speaks for about one hour to the believers, but because our car didn’t arrive yet, I am not able to write anything here.

It’s about 2 in the morning when we finally get to the hotel, and we try to catch a few hours of sleep to be ‘fresh’ for the service tomorrow morning.
