Preparation For Our Journey To Africa

PREVIEW TO OUR JOURNEY TO AFRICA

November 23, 2017

In only 4 days a group of 20 believers from Trinidad together with God’s servant, Brother Vin Dayal, will be starting their long journey to Africa, to be a real blessing and great encouragement to our precious African brothers and sisters.

To begin, we want to insert a quote of the prophet, which so truly expresses how many of us might feel at this time. And many of us have heard the question: “What are you going to Africa for?”

Only one true living church – 51-0727

Soon we’re to go to Africa in a few days. One way, I kinda hate to go. Hate to say good-bye to my wife and babies, and all. A lady, in a restaurant, the other morning, said, “Are you going to leave your little wife and those babies to go to Africa?” Said, “Yes, ma’am.” She said, “What are you going to Africa for.” I said, “To carry the Gospel, of Jesus Christ.” And I said, “He said, ‘Whosoever will not forsake his wife, his children, all, and cleave to Me, shall not be worthy to be called My disciple.'” And I said, “It’s such a little thing for me to forsake my lovely little wife and babies and things, to go to the foreign fields, when He come from glory down, and died for me.” She went around to get my breakfast, in a few moments she come back. She said, “Sir, there’s so few people think that today.” This world is hungering, friends. Give them the Gospel in its trueness, in its power.

Lots of preparations and great efforts have already been done to make this trip successful for the Kingdom of God. Not everyone will be on the same long flights. Some of the saints will be travelling through New York, some through Sao Paulo, but we all will meet by the grace of God (also Brother Burkhard and myself from Canada) in Kigali/Rwanda, just before midnight on November 30th or early morning on December 1st, after travelling for more than 40 exhausting hours, and spending a short night somewhere in a hotel bed. Thats the very reason, I am writing this little preview as a background, because I know, we will be extremely tired, when we arrive at our first destination in Rwanda.

Brother Balinda Rwigamba is the host pastor and the plan is to bring us all to a Guest House in Kigali, where we can have some most needed rest, before the first service will start right away on December 1st in the evening. Here in Kigali we are planning to stay for full 5 days, and we believe, that the Lord has something very special in mind.

Each one of us has an assignment and the Lord will give us His strength, because we know that all our human ability and trying to get something done in the energy of the flesh doesn’t avail to much. It is truly not our ability, but our availability and we trust, that with surrendered lives our dear heavenly Father can perform a paradox. We believe, He will anoint us for this journey to achieve, what He wants to get done and what He had in His infinite mind from before the foundation of the world.

We want to serve our God with reverence, in action and humility, in the only one way provided by God.

Brother Branham mentions the word Africa more than 1100 times in his services, and the following really touched me – and today we can apply it also spiritually, when he speaks about the African people:

Lamb and the dove – 57-0325

God loves them. They’d set there, some of them’s been in heathenism and–or that setting there with leprosy and looking up through those curls of the hair hanging down with mud. And they’ve got just as much right to eat and live as we have. And their little, hungry children is just as hungry as our little American children are hungry.

Continuing soon…
