Day 13

JOURS DE VOYAGES

Most of the team is leaving Haiti this morning for Fort Lauderdale. Brother Joel Conserve arrives at the hotel at 7 a.m. to pick up Brother Vin, Timmy and Gideon for the airport. We hear, that in spite of all the equipment the check-in is going very smooth, and we thank God for this.

Burkhard and me are staying back another night and just editing photos, reading through the service notes, and having an early night to be rested for travelling tomorrow.

Day 14

Our flight to Fort Lauderdale is leaving at 9:21 a.m. this morning, and Brother Joel is supposed to pick us up at 6:30 a.m. When he is still not there by 7 a.m. we text him and he says, he is close to the hotel, just stuck in heavy traffic. The clock is ticking and we get a little nervous, as we have to be at the airport at least 60 minutes before the flight leaves. We make it through heavy traffic 45 minutes before the flight leaves and the airline refuses to check us in. Brother Joel feels really bad, but we comfort him with the Word, that all things work for good.

By God’s grace there is another flight for the afternoon available and we will be in Fort Lauderdale around 7:30 tonight. So we are using the 8 hour wait time at this small and crowded airport to reply to emails, and to reflect on certain aspects of this journey. Since we are creatures of Eternity we don’t mind the wait. We give Him thanks in everything, in the good times and much more in difficult times, because everything is for a purpose.

Just before we are boarding we see our brothers and sisters in the waiting area, who are travelling today through Panama back to Trinidad and we are happy to hug them one more time before we depart.

Brother Benedict Cupid lives only 10 minutes from the airport in Fort Lauderdale and he is so kind to take us in for the night and drops us off again in the morning for our return flight to Vancouver. God will bless him and his family for his kind hospitality towards us.

After travelling all day we arrive in one piece home late Wednesday night, March 8th, and are surprised to see another load of snow and cold.

Reflecting back on this trip, it was God’s perfect timing to visit the believers in Haiti. The Word and concept ministered to the Bride of Christ have caused a revival there and will continue to evolve when the able ministers will continue to dig into the new things, which have been declared during these days. Brother Vin ministered in six services in four different locations and the believers received the Word gladly. It surely will not return void but will accomplish for what It was sent for.

Prayer does a lot of things. We had people praying all around the world for the meetings, and God opened new spiritual frontiers and He certainly moved in a supernatural way. To see the body internationally becoming one mind and one accord is foreordained to happen. It’s not the amount of people, it’s the availability.

We are thankful that God allowed us to be part of the team, that went out united for the purpose and cause to serve His lovely Bride in Haiti.
