OCTOBER 10th, 2019 – PUNJAB
SHALOM – SHANTI
We are checking out of the hotel this morning and make our way to Ludhiana, where two meetings are taking place in an Auditorium, that holds up to 2000 people. The place is already packed when we arrive, and the believers gather from many different places in Punjab. It’s hard to describe the atmosphere, which is loaded with such great expectations, excitement and joy.
Brother Vin refers to the quality of ministers here doing a great work, and that we’ve seen many churches in Europe, Canada, USA, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Malawi, around the world. “It’s a great thing when we see churches, where fruit is coming forth; people in action with reverence and humility.
The brothers here stay with the Word, in and outside the pulpit, and it’s consistent, so we know it’s not a platform performance. God is always identified by His own characteristics. They love the truth, and God will give them great increase of faith, to bring the church in the condition for the catching away.
Yet in many places there is so much division, strive and contention, no matter what nation you are from, what colour or language. What is that? These are symptoms how sick the Body really is, because the Body is fighting Its own-self.”
The title for the first tremendous service this morning is ‘When The Son Of Man Cometh Shall He Find Faith On The Earth?’ And Brother Vin continues the evening service in the same inspiration of ‘The Power Of The Lord Is Present For Perfect Healing.‘
During the short break-time in between the services we are able to share testimonies with some of the sisters. It’s such a wonderful time of fellowship, because we realize that the basic experience with the Lord for all of us is the same: ‘Eliezer called and the response is: ‘I will go.’ The sisters testify that the Holy Spirit spoke directly and explicit to them in these services and that it is a life-changing experience deep in their souls.
When we think about all the sacrifices that Brother Vin is making, preaching 11 services so far to this day, and additional even more outside of the services, what a reward is waiting for him! He is a true prisoner of Christ, considering not his own condition, preaching this time in much infirmities, and when we see the impact of the Word on the Bride, it is worth it all.
The evening ends with the precious believers here presenting very thoughtful gifts to us for our coming, and hundreds of photos are taken, and it’s very hard to separate from such a fine group of people. The Bride of Christ in Punjab is an amazing woman, and they left a big imprint on our hearts.
