October 6th, 2019 – DELHI
Looking out the window from our hotel room this Sunday morning, it seems the heavy traffic has become a bit less, but the air is still extremely dusty, the honking of the cars doesn’t stop at all, and in the midst of it all cows are walking around like the world belongs to them, while monkeys are trying to find some food by the road side… the atmosphere here in Delhi is sure very different from any other city and it’s amazing how the people manoeuvre through it.
But in the midst of all these circumstances is a tremendous people: the fervent Bride of Christ in Delhi, faithfully serving the Lord. Since we’ve been here seven years ago in 2012, God has added to the church and the fire they had then is burning even more now.
The first service today starts at 10 a.m. and Pastor Asheesh captures all the meetings by emphasizing how God has used Brother Vin to bring forth the Word of Life and caused these noble and gallant ministers to catch the vision, while the pit of hell is open all around us.
Brother Joshua Martin is the interpreter this morning, and every service the song ‘Only believe’ introduces the minister.
Brother Vin continues in the inspiration with the third part of our ‘Pre-Existence, Earthly Journey And Eternal Destination’ taking it from 2. Corinthians 4:15-18. ‘Don’t think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you; it is working for your good!’
The EVENING SERVICE is the fourth part about this tremendous subject.
These five services are so rich, it’s impossible trying to capture it in this journal, and it would be a great blessing for the Bride to listen to these services again.
Every Sunday the church here in Delhi is observing Communion and Foot washing.
At the end of these tremendous services, Pastor Asheesh presents to each member of the team a token of appreciation.
After the service, when the midnight hour strikes, we remember Brother David Dayal’s Birthday.
